I'll take Fedor by sub
Barnett by sub
Aleks E by TKO
Arlovski by decision
Lindland by decision
Babalu by sub
This is the first card in awhile I've been excited about. I'd really like to see more Fedor promos and interviews out there. That two part article on Aleks at MMAWeekly was cool - I'd love to see the same for his big brother.

Is it just me or is Fedor looking in really good shape?
Keep sucking in that gut Tim.

Oh Gawd! I hope it's not like Mike Tyson on industrial laxatives against Buster Douglas!!??!?!?

Well well well... 30 seconds & only one guy landed strikes. The one and only Last Emperor.

God, that was ridiculous. Fedor cut through Sylvia like butter. Anyone who says Fedor isn't the #1 heavyweight or that he doesn't punch hard should have their brain removed so science can study how they got so stupid.
The entire event was really good. If they put on others even nearly as good they should have a successful org.

So what does this do to Sylvia's place in the standings? Does he move up or down?

I love how fedor just doesn't stop. He comes after a guy, and finds holes, and destroys them. I'm glad he is finally getting some recognition in the US. The only problem is I don't think there is any heavyweight even in his league right now.
Sylvia questions whether or not Fedor is even human...
Quote:
Emelianenko, showing amazing reflexes for a heavyweight, came out throwing punches before Sylvia even realized what hit him. The 6-foot-8 fighter, who weighed 263 at weigh-ins but was probably closer to 280 come fight time, went down from the initial barrage. Emelianenko, 6 feet and 230 pounds, choked him out on the ground before the sellout crowd of 13,988.
“I was very pleased with my performance,” said Emelianenko after the match. “Everything I wanted to do, I was able to do.”
“I was prepared to stand up, but I knew I had a better chance to end it on the ground.”
“I know I’m one of the best heavyweights in the world, and I was amazed at him,” said Sylvia. “I really don’t think that he’s human.”
Emelianenko laughed about the comment.
“I’m human,” he said, noting his thumb came out of its socket during the flurry. “I thought I was the guy to beat him,” said Sylvia. “But I’ve never been hit so hard. I think it was a choke across the windpipe because that hurts. But my pride’s hurt, that’s about it.”
Wow... That first one is impressive... You could see the guy just go lifeless and drop like a sack of potatoes. The second one isn't showing up for me.
Silva is an animal. I have been impressed more and more with him every time I see him fight.
As for Affliction, it was a decent event, I spent the night flipping back and forth between it and UFC Fight Night. The problem I had with Affliction was mainly the presentation and announcers. I like Big John (and for the record I hate Goldberg from the UFC announcers) but it just seemed really dull, I couldn't quite put my finger on it but if I hadn't wanted to see Arlovski and Fedor I probably wouldn't have watched much of Affliction at all.

The Dream lightweight tourney today in Osaka was fucking great - vids up on dailymedia. The Kawajiri-Alvarez fight was unbelievable.
