There were some good fights. I thought the Alexander and Karo fights could've gone longer but they were in the "grey area" where I can't really fault the ref for stopping/not stopping the fights.

I was glad to see Maynard beat Edgar who, imo, is the most overrated LW in the UFC. Not really a fan of eithers style but Maynard clearly tried harder to actually win so I'm glad he won that fight soundly.

The Florian vs Lauzon fight was great. I definitely think the ref should've let it keep going. Lauzon was intelligently defending himself and if Florian couldn't do more damage before the bell range (which is how it looked) then they should've let Lauzon ride it out to the bell. Still, great fight by both fighters. Good job by Florian. I'd love to see them fight again.

That Anthony Johnson guy was impressive. He looked like he has a lot of promise.

Some good fights indeed. Florian really impressed me. That guy is gutsy and is solid all around. Great top control. I still don't think he could come close to beating BJ or Sherk but he's solidly #3 in the UFC LW.

How about that Houston huh
He was OUT. That reminded me of when Arlovski KO'd Buentello with a cross on the button - it doesn't look like much but just turned him off like a light. Precision over barnyard swings anytime.

I see some Sherdoggers are saying Johnson could "tool" Anderson Silva... that's some good comedy!
