Default Great things for MMA!

And...all their fighters will be allowed to fight for other orgs! Mind you...UFC taking advantage of that? What do you think?

I hope M-1 lives up to what they're saying and skyrockets to the #1 MMA org within a few years. Their rebirth isn't really a threat to the UFC right now, evne if they manage to get Fedor vs Couture and Fedor wins. But they do look promising and in a couple years they could be a competitor if they do things right.

I don't really care about the non-exclusive contracts they are signing their fighters to. The UFC doesn't do that and I can generally agree with it. Hopefully it works out for M-1 because that just increases the potential for matches we can enjoy as fans.

I'm interested to see who they have on their roster when they announce it in 10 days.

They were smart in getting Monte Cox on board as that guy has deep roots in the US MMA scene. He's run Extreme Challenge events for I don't know how many years and was behind Hughes, Pulver, Horn, Miletich and just about every other fighter out of the Midwest.

What's even better is that Cox generally works behind the scenes & doesn't need to feed his ego like that bald wannabe Don King.
