Default A promotion!!! (and how you can help LOL)

Well, almost.

I tested for my 4th Dan -- which would make me Master Chris/Corriea -- in May. A really big deal. I had a few breaks left over, as is typical (only about 1 in 20 people actually pass their exam on the day of, I'm told). I think pretty much it's the same test/similar test for the 28 year old as the 47 yr old (me), too.

In any case, I finished 3 of the 4 rebreaks during one retry session since then, and I'll be going for that last break -- the toughest one, that gets the vast majority of people -- again Wed night. I've missed it on a couple of previous tries; my one attempt when I 99% had it, I threw out my hammie, which I'd injured practicing for it, so I only took the one try (and my mind was really on that night).

So, whatever thoughts, prayers, and good vibrations you all have to send my way to Duluth, Minnesota leading up to this, I'll take what you got. I want to get this damn thing over with!
I think putting this out publicly is a way for me to just try to stay honest and focused, so bear with me. Usually I don't talk about his stuff.

Thanks for your attention!

Being nervous is good - it'll keep you focused.

Then when it's time let your training take over.

Sorry, no pics. In fact, I have no pics or vids of any of my tests. At black belt level tests, it's pretty much not the tradition. It's all done in secret in dark, candle lit dojangs. LOL

I didn't even remember to bring my camera for a after-shots with my instructor and with my tkd colleagues who held boards. I'll have to being a camera in next week and take a couple.
