Default New MMA Series on History Channel

I posted a note in Off-Topic, but figured this might appeal to all the folks here who don't venture down that way:

I've seen the preview during the Tour De France broadcast. Thanks for the link - that show looks cool.

Looks good...kinda Mind, Body and Kick Ass Moves in a buddy buddy style, with American accidents?

Ok saw the Muy Thai episode - really enjoyed it. Ok a lot of redundancy in the explanations and the hosts were a bit cheesey but solid stuff with a lot of potential.

I liked most of the program and the explanation and such, but I was rather disappointed in the ending. I think the "big fight" thing with one of the hosts is rather silly. Who expects someone with a few weeks of training (even with some other MA background) to even hold their own against a high-level master?

That wasn't even a sparring session. The Thai guy obviously was going at less than 50%.

The show has alot of potential but it'd be so much better if they ditched the meatheads and brought on that asked intelligent questions of the masters.
