Default Stacked!

Alright my fellow MMA fans. It's time for some predictions. How do you think things will go down this weekend.

The Main Card
Anderson Silva vs Nathan Marquardt
Sean Sherk vs Hermes Franca
Tito Ortiz vs Rashad Evans
Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira vs Heath Herring
Kenny Florian vs Alvin Robinson

The Rest
Jorge Gurgel vs Diego Saraiva
Stephan Bonnar vs Mike Nickels
Chris Lytle vs Jason Gilliam
Frankie Edgar vs mark Bocek

I'm gonna go with Silva, Sherk, Ortiz, Big Nog, and Robinson in the win column.

Can't really see any suprises coming here...I'll go with your picks also....but a good card nonetheless.

Looking forward to it!

In the REAL main event of this card Big Nog over Herring by sub.

I've got a hunch that Marquardt's style may be bad for Silva. Nate via decision.

Rashad over Tito. Can't miss that head.

Sherk over Franca via LnP

It seems that the type of training Sherk is doing is becoming the norm rather than the exception (much to the chagrin of Franklin's guy )

Anderson over Nate. but this fight could easily go the other way. the thing is I don't think Nate can finish Anderson, while Anderson most certainly can finish him.

Sherk over Franca. as above. again, could easily go either way.

Rashad over Tito. I've been a believer of Rashad since the show. destroying Lambert was more impressive than any of Tito's recent wins. should be a good fight either way.

Nog over Heath, again.

Florian over Robinson, experience will come through.

Sean Sherk - Caveman Training

They call it Caveman Training? Gee, I think I've seen those exercises somewhere else. lol

I could easily see most of the fights on the main card going either way. I just hope none of them go to decision. lol

Kuri - you forgot to mention Hughes' training as well (bodybuilder type of stuff!).

Glad to see that someone has finally woken up and is implementing full body stuff.

Silva's GnP isn't too shabby huh?

I thought Nate's style would match up a little better but Silva is operating on another plane right now. Nice win.

Note to Rashad - quit focusing on dancing and do more fighting.

I don't know how Nog survived that first round but talk about comebacks. I can't wait to see him against Mirko or Arlovski. And before Herring gets tossed out they should match him up with Doofus and give us the pleasure of seeing Tim get another beating.

Did you guys catch the look on Franklin's face after he realized he's gonna have to fight Silva again in a rematch?

There has gotta be a gif floating around of that by now.

Ya. Considering how much weight the UFC gives to marketing fighters it was pretty stupid to have Nog fight Herring if they wanted to keep both of them around. Not to mention the more hardcore MMA fans have seen their first two fights. Still, it was a closer fight than I thought it was going to be.

I like Franklin, but I don't see him beating Silva on most nights.

And God that Sherk vs Franca fight was a snoozefest. I can't believe Sherk can dominate control for almost 25 minutes but lacks the ability to seal the deal.

I thought Florian looked pretty good. He didn't impress me before but he's starting to now.

When did they show that? I don't recall seeing Rich in the audience.

I think if Rich would fight his fight and had a stronger chin, he's got the ability to beat Silva. That's a big if though. Because of Silva's striking power, and Rich's questionable chin, I'm going to be pretty worried about him in the rematch. I also think that loss is still in his head. He's done well in his fights since that loss, but he's not quite the same guy.

since when does franklin have a questionable chin? Silva kneed him in the face about 8 times before he went down with a free nose job.

Oh yeah Rich was there.

The rematch is already a done deal and the fight is taking place in Franklin's hometown. I imagine Silva won't mind whuppin' up on Rich again in his backyard.

Gotta love this video
