Default UFC buys PRIDE

It looked like it was definitely gonna happen for at least a week now. And now it's here: http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/news/story?id=2814235

This could potentially be a "best of both worlds" scenario and I hope it works out that way. What worries me is if they have universal rules as Dana White says here:http://www.reviewjournal.com/lvrj_ho.../13414338.html. It makes sense to want universal rules but I hope they aren't the UFC rules because I hate how those rules encourage GnPers and wrestlers who aren't good at finishing.

This should be a very entertaining scenario.

Randy vs Fedor? Fedor vs Cro Cop II?

Shogun vs Chuck? Sherk vs Aoki? Hughes vs Gomi?

Has anyone heard rumors of events mixing fighters from the two orgs?
