pretty much the same, but Smith/Cote is hard cause both suck. I also wouldn't be surprised to see Sam beat Machida. Beating a green Rich Franklin and squeaking by a very overweight BJ Penn only carries luster for so long. and looking like shit against Vernon White is never a good thing.

Vernon makes anyone look bad. I haven't seen any aspect of Sam's game in which he's better than Machida.

I thought Randy/Doofus was on this card too? I agree with Kuri on everything....but would love to see an elbows only bout from Crocop!

I agree with everything Kuri said. I'm just kinda surprised the Machida v. Hoger match isn't gonna be one of the televised ones.

Well it's no fun if everyone agrees with me! Isn't anyone picking Sanchez over that furriner?

Randy vs Sylvia is in March, which is good because it'll give Sylvia some time to sweat Cro Cop.

I saw the odds the bookies are placing on the Crocop vs. Sanches fight. It was pretty funny.

Crocop -1200
Sanchez +800

So nope. No one believe in Sanchez. Except Sanchez.

LMAO

This is a horrible card to say the least...

The most lopsided one in forever, I'll just wait to see the beatings on YouTube cause I ain't paying for this.

No, not even Sanchez is betting himself. Did you hear that interview with him?

The most active betting line is on how many times Rogan is gonna say "Silva is a spooky dude" and "Cro Cop has craaazy knockout power."

If Rampage has 'lost' Jesus as I have heard he has....he will be a beast. I love the old Rampage with the f-bombs every other word...can you imagine him and Samuel Jackson having a conversation?!

El Guapo: "So how are you going to win tonight Quinton?"
Rampage: "F--K.....same as always Bas...I'm gonna muthf--kin slam that muthaf--ka...that's just what i do, bodyslam muthf--kas!"

With him talkin' about old ladies grabbing his ass you better believe the old Rampage is back. Someone is gonna get slammed.

This is a smart card - and given who's in the UFC stable now, they hardly had much choice. It's designed to provide footage for the "Best Knockouts of 2007" DVD.

No more bouts of 15 minute dance recitals!

If there is anyone on the MMA forum that doesn't know who Rampage or Cro Cop are we should all point and make fun of them.

I loved seeing Chuck get his ass handed to him. hehe

While we're on the topic here's another Rampage interview from an L.A. TV station: http://cbs2.com/sports/local_story_018000009.html

Quote:
it’s only good to be white if you ain’t black. Yeah, it’s more fun being black. When you are black you can wear more clothes and you can dance. You know what I’m saying? You can’t swim though, but at least you can dance."
Yeah Dos, it's safe to say classic Rampage is gonna be there Saturday.

Can't disagree with that statement...

But lopsided fights are still dull to watch.

WTF Lutter!

He came in overweight despite looking like golem and so it's no longer a title fight.

I'm sure Dana unleashed enough F-bombs to make Rampage blush.

That's just daft.... Even if he does well - he'll be waiting a while for a title shot after that!

Depends on the fighter. Tito and Chuck cut quite a bit but not 30lbs, and they do it smart. I don't know if Lutter has a S&C or not but if he does he needs to be fired.

btw, I heard that at the weigh ins when Sanchez stepped up to the scale a heckler shouted "don't forget your helmet!"

Coupla guys also yelled "nice titties" at Sam Hoger

I hate the way they do weigh-ins. It's crap that fans pay for a card with a title fight (not that that's the only reason fans would want to see this card) and then don't get it because a guy doesn't make weight. It's also lame that fighters cut weight and then gain some back for fights. I'd much rather see a system where they have to weigh in during training so they fight at a weight they actually weigh in at instead of cutting weight and then some of them end up fighting 10 lbs or so heavier than they weighed in at. It doesn't make much sense.

Definitely. For once, the overdramatic buildup with Rogan's excited voice is actually working.
