.....and after everyone talking how Lutter's ground game was as better, if not better, than Silva......................... ..........Silva WINS! On the ground!
So was that even a decent sparring session for Mirko?
Walk in the park baby...
Sylvia just shat his pants. Again.
and how 'bout that Pride theme music eh? The intro that just launched a thousand conspiracy theories.
Rampage - yep, that was some black on black crime right there.

Not a bad event, very lop-sided though, but thinking about it, Im not sure Rampage would have done very well against some who was acclimated, he was really jittered so I think Eastman was a good warm up to get Rampage on the roll.
Crocop looked annoyed man, that Sanchez dude just ran away, how annoying is that, no wonder he just sat on him in the end...

That was so annoying. The whole tiime they were saying that I was thinking "Oh God, stfu already!". And then the "Michael Jordan of Jujitsu" got beat by a triangle choke. lol

Man, that was the highlight of the night for me. I gotta admit, I couldn't help but entertain a "Pride sent Mirko to the UFC to draw fans to Pride" conspiracy theory. Hey, a guy can dream. I'll bet Dana wasn't happy with that choice of entrance music.
I wish they wouldn't have stopped that fight so they could come out in the 2nd round and Crocop could KO Sanchez.
Take that with a grain of salt. Mike Goldberg said that, and he knows absolutely nothing about MMA or any of the UFC fighters. I have no idea why he's the regular announcer for every PPV. Besides, Joe set him straight after he said it. Every event I watch I get the feeling that Joe gets more and more annoyed by having to work with that Goldberg idiot every time.

I agree with you. And you're right that Rogan did set him straight after that (which was funny). I know Lutter is really good on the ground but they just seemed to be trying too hard to hype him up.
i found the crocop sanchez fight on youtube. Can't find the rampage eastman fight though. Anyone got a link?

Rampage was just settling in at the end of the first round - has he been fighting 10min rounds in the WFA? He's a class act though - get him in with Chuck already!
Crocop looked bored - suprised we didn't see any elbows, and he looked a bit confused when Sanchez went down - rethinking the rules differences?
...best thing about that fight was Joe Rogan asking Randy if he was sure this was a good time to get back into the UFC heavyweight division!
What was wrong with Scott Smith? - totally different fighter than fought Pete Sell? You can see Cote wants to be GSP.....gonna have to keep wanting!

"Michael Jordan of Jiujitsu" wins hands down for dumbest comment ever made during an MMA event, even surpassing Bill Wallace's infamous on-air "buuurrrp" during UFC 1.
Rogan should have called Goldie into the ring and given him a belt for that one.
Get it while it lasts
