I don't know much of anything about him or the guy that trains him. In that video clip there are a lot of good moves but I don't see anything special or revolutionary in it. We'd really have to see more how the whole program was set up to get a good picture of it though.
Well I was thinking that his training looks to be much more similar to Jeff Monson's (JC Santana) then the Miletich guys/Rich Franklin, and was curious if anyone has heard of his trainer.
I really liked the db clean and presses. It's rare to see someone doing them with good form in the context of a workout like that.

Ya, I think the training looks solid. I don't know anything about the guy but I could probably ask some local people about him. I just checked and his facility is in the same town I'm in.
Seems like there is some worthwhile stuff in there. I key question is how well designed is the program, in terms of addressing goals, weaknesses, periodization, etc.
I DO like those plyo pushups with the medicine ball being rolled from one hand to the other.
Visalia is not that far from where i am and I have never heard of this guy. Much like the old "renegade-style" training, you need to be wary if there is little to no information about the trainer himself posted anywhere on his website. BTW, he is not teaching decent form on the Oly lifts....the DB C&J's are bad and other video of some of his softball girls doing hang cleans show the same (I'm a stickler when it comes to teaching the Oly lifts...there are NO excuses for your females to have subpar form).

lol. I didn't read your sig til you said that, Dos. That is pretty close. Did you know Ed Nordenschild? He used to be the strength coach at Fresno State.
hm, I gotta go back and recheck the videos on that site then. Thanks for your input Dos. I thought it strange that someone training a known fighter would have so little info about their own background.

Did not know Ed but Fresno St. has had a great line of strength coaches in the past so I'm sure he was top notch as well.
