They got us Rampage Jackson, Heath Herring, and probably some other fighters.

The UFC this week bought the WFA and WEC after both were in financial trouble. In buy the WFA the UFC is deciding what fighter contracts to pick up other than the two big ones.

Anyone else looking forward to Rampage/Lidell II in '07?

I wouldn't mind seeing Herring bloody up doofus in the HW either

And on top of that CroCop isn't fighting NYE ticket and has decided if he is leaving PRIDE or not. If we see CroCop in the UFC we might see many other PRIDE fighters transition. Not sure.

Where did you see this? Last I heard Fedor is confirmed to fight Mark Hunt.

Herring hasn't looked great in some time, but then again he was fighting Pride guys so... he should fare better in the UFC.

I've heard much good about Uriah Faber and Miller is entertaining. But most of all I can't wait to see Rampage stir up the LHWs and employ his "whoop dey ass" strategy on Chuck. Again.

PRIDE fighters will go to the UFC when the UFC starts shelling out decent $$$.

I'm bummed both Fedor and Crocop are out of the NYE show but what can you do.

Ya, Heath Herring hasn't been at his best in a while. But he is an exciting fighter to watch and is still young enough to get back in top form. I think he'd be the best heavyweight in the UFC. What's funny is I've actually met him here in town. His ex-wife used to work at the gym I was a trainer at and he comes into town once in a while to visit their daughter. It's funny how fighters look bigger on tv.

I'm glad the UFC signed some better talent. Adding guys like Rampage, Herring and Ichida makes the UFC that much better. I still hope Pride sweeps in and takes over though. lol
