Default Tito Liddel 2

Anyone even care? I'm more interested to see Arlovski come back. Last time he lost twice He freaked out and won that belt like no one would take it from him. I really wanna see him come back nice, maybe fight Congo who I think will be good one day.

Ya, I'm interested in this match. Not interested enough to pay for it but it should be a pretty good fight. we'll see how Arlovski does. I don't think he's that great a fighter but I'd like to see him come back form his two losses.

I wouldnt mind seeing Chuck knock out Tito again, cause thats whats gonna happen. I would love to see Arlovski do well, I still like him even if he choked fighting a punk, twice.

not quite as amped as I was to see Hughes get stomped but I've always been a fan of Tito's and Chuck irks me. Tito went for two half assed TD attempts and you can't say the eyepoke didn't affect the fight. I guess you only get a break when you're Matt Hughes and you didn't actually get poked(or kicked in the groin for that matter). Arlovski should get a 1st round KO. the last thing I wanna see is a 4th fight between him and Tim so hopefully Tim loses before that becomes necessary.

Didn't used to like Tito, but would like to see him give Chuck a run for his money and honestly I think he can do it...if he keeps away from Jenna long enough! Wonder if she want to Big Bear with him!

Rumor that the UFC may sign Cro-Crop to a single fight, which I think would put good old Timmy out of the heavy weight division...well at least holding the title!

I'm interested in the Griffin Jardine, the Ortiz Liddell, and the Arlovsky Cruz fights. This is a good card and I think it's worth the money, even though I'll be at a sports bar for it.

I honestly think that Ortiz has a good chance against Liddell. He's been in there once, there is no mystique about his punching power now, and he sounds like he's got a good plan. I hope to see him win.

Ortiz has come a long ways since their last fight so it should be entertaining.

Tito has never hurt anyone with his standing game so all he has is the takedown.

Think Chuck will be ready for that?

Tito may have the edge in pure strength but I don't see that making up for Chuck's strengths. I don't see it being that competitive.

I'll be watching Pride
Fedor vs Hunt
Aoki vs Hansen
Melendez vs Kawajiri
+ many more coming

hmmmm, I'm thinking that this is oe of the better UFC cards in the past few events. Go figure. Can't wait to see leben get twisted into a pretzel.....Bisbing FINALLY fighting....if Tito will survive another thumbing.....if Arlovski really still wants to fight....Forrest getting pushed around a bit by Jardine.

New Years Eve.

I think it's on PPV here the 31st too but don't quote me.

two more matches announced:
Mauricio "Shogun" Rua vs. Kazuhiro Nakamura
Takanori Gomi vs. Mitsuhiro Ishida (Non-Title Match)

I'll start a new thread though so we can continue talking about Tito getting another beatdown

I give Tito credit for lasting into the 3rd. He put up a decent fight but it takes someone with better boxing to nullify Chuck and open him up for the takedown. And that is exactly what I hope Rampage comes in and does. Again.

Give Rampage a couple tune up fights and let him work some whoop dey ass strategy on 'ol Chuck.

Arlovski looked good huh? How cool would a fight between we and Cro Cop be! After Cro Cop sends Timmy into retirement that is

I thought the ref should've let the Chuck vs. Tito fight keep going. Tito was still intelligently defending himself. It probably would've ended up the same way but come on man. That ref really sucked tonight. Making MacDonald come off the cage sevearl times when he had Leben pinned.

So it looks like Crocop really is coming to the UFC. I dont think Sylvia or Arlovski could handle Crocop. I really don't think any heavyweight in the UFC could. I'm predicting there'll be two entertaining fights with Crocop and then the rest will just be less than entertaining cakewalks unless the UFC signs some better talent.

Whatc, now that I said that Sylvia knock Crocop out with a weak left jab or something. lol

I agree, the ref stopped it a little early. Tito was blocking most of the shots, and still had a chance to escape. However, I don't think it was going to last much longer, Liddell was pretty much dominating Tito....Tito had no success getting Liddell to the ground.

Overall all of the fights were good. I especially liked Forrest Griffin's comments after he lost...."I got knocked the fuck out". That was great. Arlovski looked good, will be interesting to see him fight Cro Cop.

It wasn't the same guy. The MacDonald/Leban fight was Steve Mazzagati, and Lidell/Ortiz was Mario Yamasaki.

Ya, I was a little surprised Forrest lost. He should've taken it to the ground. Gotta give Jardine credit. I know Forrestt likes to slug but he actually has a strong ground game people don't know much about yet. But it's hard not to like that guy man. He was devastated by that loss but he was still a great sport.

UFC fights are stopped way faster then PRIDE I have noticed. Guess seeing as UFC is still not accepted in America and O'Reilly is crusading it as a "Blood Sport" the refs have to be more gun shy.

O'Reilly called it that? Damn that O'Reilly, always trying to ruin my fun. I'd figure it'd be Tipper Gore out to get it. lol

It's no secret fights are usually stopped sooner in the UFC than Pride. I don't think they consider the question "Are the punches doing any damage" enough before stopping it.

Even funnier then that was watching him sprint out of the arena and push away anyone trying to give him a high five.

As for Lidell v. Ortiz I am glad Chuck won because I hate Tito, and I agree that the refs stop the fights too soon too often. In fact I figured they were going to stop it at the end of the first round.

I am glad Arlovski one and that was a brutal punch I have no idea what that guy was thinking just sitting there.

I used to like Leben but lately I can't stand him and I am glad a Canadian boy won. I can't wait to watch St. Pierre mop the floor with Serra and Silva kill Lutter. I just can't see either of the TUF4 winners giving the 2 champs a good run.

depends who's fighting and who's the ref. in Japan if you happen to be Japanese good luck getting KO'ed, long as they can drag your lifeless body to the center of the ring you're still in it. ask Ken Shamrock how it works for non-Japanese.
