Chuck vs. Babalu Next weekend
I'm really starting to get excited about this fight. Watching Babalu's last two fights last night on Spike has fired me up on the kid....love his sportsmanship etc. Could never see Chuck hugging a guy he just beat and telling him great fight etc. NEVER. For those who don't know much about babalu or don't think he has a chance, you might be in for a surprise. The kid is VERY capable of beating Chuck especially since he seems to have become a much better striker and will obviously be on the lookout for Chuck's HEAVY hands. Babalu has 5 total losses and they go like this...
-Decision to Dan henderson
-Decision to Randleman
-Decision to frickin FEDOR!
-KO by Liddell
-Sub by V. Overeem
Sort of a whos-who of MMA there huh? can't wait for next weekend!

I watched the weighs on spike. And is it just me or does chuck just look a little odd. I'm trying to think how to describe it and I can't think of it. I'm not saying anything about how he fights, but he just looked odd walking onto the scale. Like he was really leaning over on the upper part or perhaps it's just that he doesn't have any meat on his back...not sure, but just an observation.
Should be interesting to see how things go tonight!

chuck is a WEIRD dude.....if you ever get to see him during a UFC event that he is watching, he just won't stand still. He will pace all over, talking to himself and rubbing his head etc. He also gets into a lot of shit with fans who say shit to him. i would say the last time in L.A., he almost got into about 25 fights during the course of the night....seriously.

I'm getting ready to chill and watch it at home. For free.
Just watched the Pride Bushido. Denis Kang is one BAD DUDE! He took out Fedor's boy Amar Suloev in 5 minutes.
Dan Henderson (who beat Babalu) however did not look good. Didn't even get one takedown in his fight with Misaki, who got the unanimous decision.

Except for Babalu/Chuck! Goddamn Babalu had about the worst strategy against Chuck possible. Babalu was just flailing like he's had zero training.
The Franca & Diaz fights were great though. Excellent subs by both.

yeah that does look like a pretty stupid decision. Especially if you are good on the ground.

Babaloo was wasted, Im not an Iceman fan and wanted to see the upset but, Renato got caught, they all get caught. Chuck hits hard and if it wasnt stopped Renato may have got hurt bad, when he is flopping around trying to recover and Chuck is 'shooting fish in a barrel, its over!
Over all a good UFC, whats next for Chuck?

kongo looked like a bad man. Hey what about that first fight, Varner lost all respect in my book, he gassed out and RAN AWAY.
