I think the finals will be OK, kind of like the season. To me, Season 2 is the best of them all, with 3 and 4 being too gimmicky and failing to deliver.
Lytle and Cote are my picks. Both are the stronger fighters, IMO. Cote, especially, impressed me with his strength. No one in the finals, though, seems to have anything like a killer instinct. I don't know how you beat someone like Silva or Hughes if you can't at least match their aggressiveness.

Exactly what I thought! It seems to me most of these guys (except maybe Serra and Shonie) sort of train a bit of this & a bit of that but never really develop a special ability to finish the job. I love watching guys like Fedor, Genki, BJ, CroCop etc... because you KNOW at least one aspect of their game is so explosive and developed that they can end it at any time.
In the fight last night they threw some punches, threw a few kicks - nothing stellar, went to the ground - nothing stellar.
I much prefer watching a Muay Thai master or BJJ master rather than a guy that's adequate at everything.

Lytle got robbed.....Cote got schooled in BJJ. Both winners will get drilled b the current UFC champs.

Was Scott Smith's punch the coolest KO in some time or what?!
My wife came out wondering what I was yelling about, and I wasn't even aware that I had. It was that good
yep, I thought Lytle won too.
