Hartman has no known dirt, other than his man crush on Sammy Hagar
JP however is very open in his past involving rubber balls.

Matt Serra is a great coach.
I hope he fights Shonie next week and punishes him.

Ah Shonie would just give him another spinning byatch slap
It was a pretty good fight tonight. Is it me or has Cote improved his ground game?
Jorge on the other hand didn't seem to be in the best condition. Or maybe it was that nice up kick cuz after that he was moving at half speed.
And does anyone else think Chuck's unique windmill punch may invite a broken hand? Watching that I was thinking that using that you'd probably connect with the top of the other guy's head. Ouch.

He has definitely improved. i don't think Jorge did, that and he got clocked.
I just love listening to Matt's instructions during the fight. It is perfect. Just what a fighter needs to here when he is under duress. Simple, calm commands and encouragement. Beautiful coaching.
Chuck's punch could definitely lead to a broken hand, but if you do land it...
Lights out.

I too loved the way Cote was able to listen to Matt and do exactly what he said. The problem was more that Jorge was not doing much in the guard therefore Cote was able to look at, listen to matt. If somebody is very active on top of you, and raining down hammer fists, elbows, shoulders etc. you won't be listening very well. I was surprised that Jorge fought so poorly although I kept thinking 'watch out for the up-kick' and then BANG,

So who do you guys pick?
Welterweights:
Shonie Carter
Matt Serra
Chris Lytle
Din Thomas
Middleweights:
Patrick Cote
Pete Sell
Edwin Dewees
Travis Lutter
Obviously it depends on the matchups but Shonie can make anyone look bad with his style and sub defense. That said a good boxer such as Lytle is a bad matchup for him. Shonie might do best against Serra and Thomas.
I'm giving Cote as good a chance as anybody. I think he could take out Dewees and possibly Lutter. Sell might be a bad match for him though. However, Lutter's ground game could nullify Sell' sub attempts and Lutter could probably beat him standing.
That's what makes MMA so fun to watch.

I think Din Thomas is the best all around.
I would not be surprised to see Serra fight Shonie in the semis. I think Dana want that fight as much as Serra.
Sell is going to be tough, but I think that it's anyones game in the middleweights.

If Shonie faces Serra or Din, he will lose -- but that winner will be too gone to win the next fight.
Cote gets it in the MW division.

I have ABSOLUTELY no respect for Matt Hughes.
I hope St. Pierre chokes him out.

Just caught up again...good fight. Was strange how often Cote looked away from the fight towards Serra for instruction!?!?

I only caught the fight and missed the first half, but ko, are you saying that Matt is acting like a good 'ol Midwestern jock? Now theres a shock
That was a good fight though. Lytle and Din both fought hard and you can't ask for more than that. Probably the best fight of the series. So far.
Better set your TiVos for Shonie vs. Serra! I have a feeling that's gonna be another classic.

Pimp Shonie KO by spinning backfist! ; - )
Gotta be shitty for Serra to have to live with that punch on every fucking UFC highlight ever shown....

The "big lips flappin'"comment was just plain wrong.
It was a good fight, but I was expecting more from Thomas.
