Default Official \"Guys With Concrete Blocks For A Head\" Appreciation Thread

There are alot of hard heads in MMA and boxing but this thread must start off with this past weekend's Mark Hunt vs. Yosuke Nishijima bout from Pride 31 in Japan. I don't think I've ever seen two guys take so many bombs and keep standing. Well, at least one of them was left standing!

that knee drop would have been devastating if it had connected. YN really did a good job escaping the holds but needs a lot of work on the floor.

That knee drop was almost as good as Hunt's "atomic butt drop" he tried in a fight with W. Silva. And almost hanging himself on the ropes...Hilarious!

Neither of those guys are good grapplers by any means, but I give Hunt props for going for it.

That was just an entertaining fight from start to finish. I love the part where Hunt is so tired he rests his arms on the ropes while getting wacked in the head. He just doesn't seem to mind. Has to be his Samoan blood.

Have you ever seen Samoan/Fijian rugby players? Those guys are absolute tanks.
