Default Hello.

Hi everyone, I've been a member for a little while lurking in the corners reading posts but never jumping in myself.

About 2 weeks ago I decided my life wasn't what I wanted it to be. I had a job I had started to hate, am overweight by more that 100lbs, and going to school for the wrong major.

So I have quit my job, switched my major and am now on the quest to lose at least 100lbs. With all the info here I hope to get started in the right direction. A little info about myself:
I'm 5'8 weigh 300lbs
Diagnosed as a type 2 diabetic one month ago.
I do have some exercise equipment such as a treadmill, exercise bike and a bow flex.
I am trying to combine my weight loss with my new major in web development by hosting a website chronicling my weight loss.
Have a wonderful wife and 3 kids.
Need a new job!

Thats all really. I just wanted to finally say hi and introduce myself to everyone out there.

Paul

Thanks everyone for the welcome. It is going to be a huge change in direction but it is well overdue. I hope to be able to contribute to the board here at some point!
