Man this is an old thread! I quit counting calories and just ate less and 90% healthy; moved more and I am down to 275 right now. My eating usually consists of:

2 eggs and 2 pieces of Canadian bacon for breakfast.

Plain yogurt and Bare Naked granola for a snack.

4oz of lunch meat and a piece of cheese and a piece of fruit for lunch.

either beef jerkey, peanuts, hard boiled eggs, or other protein/fat snack.

grilled chicken, filet mignon, salmon or tuna and a veggie and baked potato for dinner.

sometimes a bedtime snack of half a peanut butter sandwich and skim milk.

That is pretty much what I eat everyday; occasionally I will mix them around or throw in some whole wheat pasta. Weekends I might eat out once.

I lift 2-3 days a week and just started biking again. Will do about 25 miles this week, hoping to do 30 next week. I ride to work 1-2 days a week 10 miles round trip. Do some hiking occasionally too!

I am hoping with the cycling I will break through this plateau and be under 250 before winter. My heaviest was 374 in 2004 so I am already about 100 pounds lost!!!!

Congrats on the progress so far. You may find that eventually you'll have to count calories to break through a plateau (although not all people do). Good luck!
