Default Best Laid Plans...You last visited: 9-09-2007

I am posting this message in this subforum as this is where I have posted more than any other place save for other members' logs. Mods feel free to move it to off topic if necessary.

Robert Burns once penned, "the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry."

As many of you know, I have not been around for the past few months. I have let many people here on the forum down and have possibly injured friendships. For this, the most I can offer is my most sincere apology. I can only say that I have done the best that I could and my time here suffered.

The last few months I have found illness, physical altercation (one in which I did not ask for but lost badly), the need to work more (and take a second job) in addition to school and my work at the hospital, replaced my laptop (everyone knew about the other one sucked), and lastly reached my worst level of conditioning in 3 years.

School is now completely over, I will be ending my extra work by February, and I am happy to be back at JP Fitness.

I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and an outstanding 2008. I look forward to reading about everyone's new successes in the gym and in life as well as catching up on everything that I have missed out on.

RedWifey and I have talked about you often, hoping you were doing OK. And your online absence, for the puny excuse of massive real-life problems, certainly has crushed our friendship. Email me again someday when you have your priorities straight.

Hope that sarcastic bitch slap was taken appropriately.

Glad you are through that tough phase, and I look forward to what lies ahead for you. You always have a place here.

You didn't tell me about the second job when we talked the other night. Sorry to miss you on New Years Eve, hope all is well in the hospital.

Yeah, not my favorite work in the world, but it works. It is hard to remember everything when you are trying to catch up in one sitting. It has been quite some time since I have seen you....plus I didnt' want to dominate the conversation too much with my boring world the first time I meet your girlfriend. 2008 is going to be better. My goal is to do less whining.

Good goal. You did well in not dominating the conversation. My girlfriend wanted me to let you know that she thought you were a great guy and a lot of fun to be around.
