HOW DO YOU SURVIVE!?
Last week was ok, I managed to get through pretty easily on Plan A of the TNT diet, infact a lot easier than I thought.
Workouts have been a challenge for me, getting back into it. My Steadystate stuff should be the easiest, but alas with my bike down and awaiting repairs cycling is out. I do need to start running either way, but I just don't enjoy it as much. The last run was evil, but it had more to do with DOMS than anything else. Maybe the next one will be better?
I plan on rounding out this week with NROL BI A tomorrow morning, with a run tonight and maybe some hills on Sunday.
Biggest thorn was finally getting a call for an interview, going in, getting the interview and then not getting the job all in a matter of 4 days. At least it was fast but last night was very disappointing for me. I managed to not destroy the diet though.
I feel a lot better today and we are now approaching the weekend rapidly! yay!

Sadly I have something like that. Ok well it's a little bigger, but I have a folding bike, just no real desire to ride it to work and back since it's a single speed and I live in the land of hills

1 Week done.... I'm really pleased that there is only one meal I missed for my carrying goal and that I've managed to learn how to bulgarian split squats without planting my face into the floor.
I've enjoyed my "off week" for NROL and am looking forward to getting back to groove of things next week.
Measurements and Progress Pictures are this weekend.

week 1 done:
thorns: diet went to heck during seminar week even though I'd preplanned. workouts - ran on Tues. was supposed to do RT on Wed - didn't as I had to work in the evening to "make up" for being at seminar all day. was supposed to run on Thurs - didn't as sciatica (from commute) was super intense and spent the evening foam rolling & doing piriformis stretching to try and relieve same.
roses: still here, still dedicated and ready for today to be an "on plan" day.

This challenge has been great for me so far! Just what I needed to get by butt in gear.
Roses: Workouts have gone well, eating is good
Thorns: Eating - although good, I've had a couple of slips -- at least the challenge keeps me accountable.

The weeks thoughts
Rose - Good week at work today (very rare) got through a lot of completions including my 1st Million Pound House.
Thorn - although my diet has been fairly good throughout the week i stil need to hone in a bit more. I think my scalesare not accurate, even though they were fairly expensive - the weight fluctuates too much. Ate pretty bad today... was doing o.k until about 6pm but its all gone downhill from then.
Out of Interest, could somebody point me in the direction of the TNT info please. I actually won a copy of the book at the Summit (thanks JP) but it's not out until october - how come people have some of it's content now??
Points Total so far.... 49

1 down, 7 to go! So far, so good. Although I had a couple close calls with food this past week. I got caught empty handed this afternoon at work when it was time to feed again. But, after rummaging around in my desk, I found the last of a bag of almonds, and hungrily munched on them. Needless to say, I was very happy I found them. So, I was wondering what everyone else's favorite snacks are to keep in their desks at work?

Sunflower seeds in the shell. They take a long time to eat. Granted you have to spit the shells... Only you can know if that works at your desk.
