a thorny rose i guess: my biking is going great, i'm riding stronger, getting faster, don't have to shift to lower gears for most of the big hills anymore, got a book on mountain biking and i've been finding alternate routes to work for big hills and even made a few jumps, getting beter and wheelies to get over curbs, and even tackled a big rock that was about 8 inches off the ground, and got my tire on it and sailed right over, that was a little rush. and usually when i get to work, i can cut through the yard and go down a big hill into the parking lot, but i have to go up a curb that's about 8 inches up, and i ride along the curb, so i used to stop and lift the bike up the curb, never tried a parellel jump before, but today, i decided what the heck, and bore on full speed and hopped my front tire on, my back tire skid for just a split second, and then it rolled over and i sailed through the yard, and probably took a good five seconds off my time :p

but the thorn, the bike keeps giving me little problems, handle bars went crooked and i'm having a heck of a time getting them straight, think i got that fixed though, and i'm haveing to still stop once a trip to retighten the crank, d/t bolt loosens. im gonna try and go back to the place i bought it from this weekend though, and get them to fix all these little annoyances

Rose Managed to get through yesterday's landmine of food that was associated with the meeting.

Thorn: Today was not so good. breakfast was on target, M2 and 3 were off. M4 was back on. M5 is back on. M6 will be on. Basically the whole day was full speed ahead in an attempt to get done with this review. Despite being off 2 meals, I estimate I am still on target calorically

Thorn: Got a little obsessive about my stupid, flabby frickin' belly fat that's not FUC*** budging! Son-of-a-*^%$b#!!!!!

Thorn II: Damn, I'm hungry.

Rose: I'm much better now. I've come to terms. Talked off the bridge. Down off the ledge. Hey, maybe it's really an undeveloped twin? I don't don't want to kill him... I wonder if he has little teeth, like in that Richard Bachman book?

Rose II: I ate and I'm much better now.

Rose: The shorts that I wanted to get into are now wearable. Not quite the fit I'd buy new but no uncomfortable and more to just grab out of the closet.

thorn: Scale loss is difficult to come by, but (see above) progress is happening.

LD you crack me up. When I got down to 188 last June I had the same concern "When the hell is this flap of flab going to go away". I guess it is better to have that than fill it out again.

Rose: Down another 1.2# 8 to go for the challenge.

Thorn: It's Friday and I really want to go throw a few back with my buddies.

LD: if you could have kids, you could have the flabby skin to go with it and blame it on that.
