Nutrition - clean eating 90% of the time.
Fitness - at least three days of lifting and 2 days of HIIT per week.
Goal - lose those pesky final pounds and get down to 175 while maintaining strength levels.
Competition - I have no idea at the moment.

Sorry not to be prepared on this one, but I will give it my best shot.
Well, since you write the amazing MMMM I think we will let it slide this time. But don't push your luck mister. :p

Oh, and welcome aboard!

Good points. I'd say it depends on the diet you've chosen to follow, too.

Adam's Diet give you one carb meal a day. That's complaint. It doesn't say cheesecake is cool for that carb meal. So you'd be none compliant.

We all have to decide how strict we are going to be if we want to succeed in our own goals.

For me, I plan to be 100% compliant, which includes my carb up day, once a week. If I have carbs on another day, I lose a point.

Sorry Dave, I may have confused the whole thing. I guess there are several ways to look at it.

How about some sort of competition?

How about challenging a group of people to a 5k (even different ones)? Each throw in some money and the winner donates to their favorite charity.

Similar things can be done with lifting. A lift off, you can call it. Challenge a few people to percentage improvements in one favorite lift, maybe. Make it interesting.

Doesn't have to be an official event, but it should be competative. Something you want to win and will be willing to try hard to be a winner. Most of the rest of the Challenge is about challenging yourself. This is the part when you kick someone else's butt. I will be, anyway...

So I am keeping up with my worksheet - do I also need to make regular posts in my log?

If you want feedback on your workouts or nutrition, maybe. Some people don't like to log things.

There's also a weekly thread that you can check in on, if you want to.
