Default Thursday's Inspiration

MOTIVATED. DEDICATED.

Over time, I have discovered that collecting and reflecting on quotes, has been quite useful during times when my motivation is waning. I am also big on journaling (1000x better than blogging) so I frequently try to review a bit of my own history to see where I have come from. I tend to look at life a lot like driving a car. You have to pay attention to what you are doing...be conscious of all that is around you. You need to check the rearview mirror every now and again (look back, if you will), but you can't stay looking there (no dwelling on the past). If you do, you'll crash and burn. You steadfastly scan the road ahead for obstacles, sometimes the much needed gas station, or another motorist in distress for whom you might render some help. Sometimes the car will break down and need repair, sometimes there will be inclement weather, but if you stay on the road eventually you'll get to your destination. Get your maps out. Where are you going?
