Default Success Stories...

We have read a lot about the wonderful success stories of people losing the weight they have wanted to, gaining the muscle to give them that athletic physique, etc. One of the most useful exercises I have have used with people is the "as if" exercise.

What I would like for you to do....share if you'd like... is for those of you who are "works in progress" (truly I think we all remain this way) to write your success story. Yes, I know you aren't there yet, but that is the point. Tell me the story as though you have already done it. Sit and think about that for a moment. Let it percolate. Imagine you have already succeeded. What did you do to get there? What does it feel like to be there? How do you look? What is different now versus then? Do you have more energy? Consider how you walk? How you move? How do you breathe even? I want you to keep these things focused about you. Not things you will be able to get like girlfriends, boyfriends, etc. I want this to be how you perceive you might feel about you. Maybe there are some things that you can do that you have always wanted to do (a physical activity) you can include those... have fun. Smile.... and Live Large

Newman- I've been thinking about this off and on since you posted it (which, I guess, is the point) - I think I will write this - probably not share it - but I think I'll write it - it looks like an interesting exercise.

I didn't know that anyone would actually post anything...but I did hope someone would consider it. Thanks for taking a look at it.

hmmm.... a very interesting exercise, and quite a good motivation tool. Let's see.....what would it be like if I were no longer the old fat fart but was instead the old lean stud.

and btw....I'm 51...not old yet!
