I have a pain in both legs in the inside of the leg, right where the calf muscle hits the bone. I thought that after two years of lifting, it might be connective tissue not keeping up. Knowing that I was going to move from lifting to running as a focus, I took two months off to rest it before starting to jog. Despite starting slowly and ramping up, it's still dogging me. Any ideas?

I've been doing a bit of reading today. It seems not all shin splint pain is anterior, so that's likely what it is. My achillis and ankles tend to stiffen from running, so I'll work through it.
