I have pain in both elbow joints. I believe this is from two exercises. EZ Bar curls and weighted bench dips, both of which put a lot strain on my elbows. Other than not doing these exercises, what can I do to (1) rehab (and of course continue to workout), (2) prevent it from happening in the future. I feel like I have arms of steel and joints of clay.

Could you read the first stickie post in this forum and answer more of the questions there? It would go a long way in figuring out what's going on.

(1) What is injured: Elbow joints.
(2) Is this a re-injury: YES
(3) If so, when did you first injure it: About a year ago doing russian-style dumbell curls.
(4) How did the injury happen: Believe this occured from either (a) ez bar curls, (b) tricep pushdowns, or (3) weighted bench dips. I use a mirror and strict form, so do not believe this is form problem.
(5) Describe your pain: Sharp. Occurs especially when I do most any curl. Doesn't hurt 'in general', e.g., while typing. Seems only to hurt when placing a load on the joint.
(6) Do you experience any other symptoms other than pain? Nothing.
(7) Is there anything that makes your pain better or worse: Not working out. Have taken advil and aleve, but haven't noticed any improvement. Didn't work out ofr 3 days, noticed a VERY slight improvement.
(8) If you were asked to make it hurt, what would you do? Jump from a building an land on my elbows. OR...do an ez bar curl.
(9) What can you not do now that you could do before the injury or onset of pain: nothing really.
(10) What have you done about this injury already: I'm lifting lighter weights, fewer reps, more rest between sets, took several days off, took advil.
(11) Have you seen a doctor or other health care professional about this injury yet: NO.
(12) What exactly are you asking for help about: How I might rehab it. Anyone that has had similar experiences.

In general, I have reasonably strong muscle and reasonably small and weak joints. I've been working out 3-5 days as week, pretty hard, for 1 1/2 years. Think I've hit a muscle-growth plateau and can't overcome it w/o lifting heavier weight, but my joints have other ideas.

Thanks in advance for your advice / experiences.
