Exclamation

Today I was performing flat bb bench press and experienced a weird "injury". after warming up at 135-9 reps, 185-5 reps, and 205-2 reps I began my work sets at 210 lbs...On my first 3 reps at 210 lbs I felt absolutley fine(enough to probably finish with 5 or 6 reps)However after performing the positive portion of the 3rd rep and coming down on the negative of the 3rd rep, a little less then half way to my chest I heard a loud crunch sound along with a quick sharp pain in my right shoulder. It scared the shit out of me but with the help of the spotter I actually was able to just put the bar back up with little to moderate pain...Since the pain was really not that bad I decided to try a very light set at 135 just to see if I was ok...I had the same problem only on the negative portion and slightly when transfering to the positive portion of the exercise...I was able to do certain exercises like db presses(light) while keeping them parralel to my torso...What the heck could this be???In other words what does it mean when you hear something go crunch and ur shoulder looks and feels not that bad...I should add in that I am a baseball player practicing to make a d-1 team next fall...My right shoulder is my throwing arm...anyone?

I agree, see a doctor ASAP. You don't want to waste any more time avoiding the doctor when you could be getting healed. It may mean the difference in if you could make the team or not.
