I've, previously, had surgery on both shoulders to fix an impingement, to repair both rotators, and to clean up torn cartilage.
Soon after the second surgery, I completely separated the humeral head, re-damaged the rotator in both, and have been diagnosed with bilateral bicepts tendonitis.
I need suggestions on how to workout around the pain. I'm also hoping for some advice on how to heal the damage naturally.
I've been told surgery is inevitable. However after a history of 30 surgeries on various joints, and my spine...I'm TIRED, and have no desire to do it again.

Any suggestions?

I feel your pain, having had numerous surgeries myself, although nothing compared to you. Doesn't sound like you have much choice though, other than living with it. Maybe Bill will have something more optimistic to post about it. Sorry to hear about your injury. Welcome to the forum though!

As having suffered a career-ending shoulder injury myself, I can also understand what an inconvenience it is, to say the least. My only question would be what activity were you doing when you sustained the should damage? One possible approach to help the body heal itself is to re-examine your diet. In an age of inflammatory foods, a lot of ailments can subside from just altering the foods that you are eating. Another possibility to help ROM is PNF patterning similar to the one I was fortunate to learn from Brian Grasso. Bicep tendonitis can have its roots in tendon length, insertion width, bicepital groove width, etc., but one thing you might want to look into is possible muscular imbalances putting undo strain on the shoulder. Wolff's Law states that if you alter the structure/function of one area you can alter the structure/function of another area. Possible muscular imbalances can be the root of all evil when it comes to injury and might be the cause of your problems. Trigger point massage therapy might also help to relieve some myofascial pressure causing your distress. I hope your pain will subside and have a great day!!

Thanks Will, and welcome to the forum!

I tweaked my shoulder back out while on my trip last week... Don't know how. It's been really bad since my car accident a couple of months ago. I think my problems would be cut in half if I had a skilled ART practicioner here in Little Rock. They would make a pretty good living just off of my case alone!
