ok...yesterday i played an indoor soccer game on a turf field....it is really bad turf..old and gross..and i got turf burn..multiple times...and my one knee started bleeding pretty bad...the other is red all over it...

does anyone have any suggestions about what i should do..i have another game tomorrow....

Spray on some Bactine and have your Mommy blow on it so it doesn't sting. (sorry couldn't resist).

Most turf burns are superficial but some can be partial thickness just like burns. Your going to want to clean that sucker up with something like hydrogen peroxide until the foam is clean (who knows what is growing on the turf ). Triple anti-biotic ointment and clean telfa pads well help prevent infection until it scabs.
