Okay, Doing deadlifts last night, I felt a weird burn like feeling right below my lowest rib. I was stupid and went heavy without warming up, and also had a slight jerk when I pulled upward on the start of the lift. This AM is feel like I got hit there or had some type of impact below and on my last rib, yet I never touched it with the bar or equipment. Any ideas on what I did? Is it part of my abs that I pulled, or could I have fractured a rib as thats kinda what it feels like.

Thanks!

It hurt's when you press on the rib bone? Or is it more abdominal? Does it hurt to breathe or take a deep breath? I've had a rib to sternum connective tissue injury before, but this sounds a little different. Normally I believe rib fractures and/or tissue tears around the rib cause pain just breathing, mine would hurt if I laughed, rolled over in bed, breathed too hard, and retracted my scapulae.

Only hurts when I press on it. Breathing doesn't hurt and today it felt about 50% better. I did lift last night and was able to deadlift and squat without pain which is weird as I hurt it doing the deadlift.

Thanks Rev.
