Like many people coming back from injuries, I have had good days, and some setbacks. I can't decide if I should try and attend PT again for my shoulder, or just continue with the rehab program the they provided and just work at it at home (and ice/heat the injury)? If you have attended several weeks of phys. therapy and have a good feel for the exercises, is there any benefit to going back, or should I just work hard at my rehab on my own? Thanks for any opinions.

That largely depends on whether you feel your home program is doing you any good. If you've been given a program that, for whatever reason, has not resulted in an improvement in your injury, then you might consider going back (or going to someone different) to see what else can be done.

This is, of course, assuming you've been 100% committed and compliant with your home program and that you've been doing the home program for a sufficient amount of time to realistically expect to see an improvement.

If you've been experiencing good progress and continue to experience progress, just stick with your home program.

If you've been experiencing good progress, but have stopped seeing improvement and your current injury state is still functionally sub-optimal or symptomatic, then you might consider going back to see if any adjustments need to be made to your rehab.
