Question

Hey all:

A friend of mine, who used to be my "lifting parter" about a year ago wanted to start lifting with me again. The problem is that he was attacked by about 10 guys a couple months ago. He had 2 bulged/ruptured disks in his back that he never got surgery on, which he was suppoed to but didn't. We understand that if he agrivates his condition anymore that he could hurniate the disks. Also, every once in a while his back still acts up. Should he stay away from lifting all together?

Thanks,
