On Monday I started my 4th week of HGM. On leg work,1st quad ask for squads, 2nd for lunges. As I started to perform the first set of the lunges, I had an extreme pain in my left leg (quadriceps). Never had pain like this on my legs. Last Wed. same thing. I don’t know what I did wrong since I didn’t have any pain while doing squads, and the pain it’s only on the left leg. I was able to perform two sets of leg curls instead of the lunges, but still, I was surprised by this “painful pain”. Maybe I’m performing the lunges with the wrong form, but now that I have started this program and I’m very exited about it and follow it very religiously, I don’t want to quite because pain in one leg. I hope this evening I feel better while finishing my 4th week.
What’s the proper way to perform lunges?
It’s there any other exercise I can substitute instead of this?
It's ok to do squads again in the 2nd quad?
