Anyone have any ideas what i can do to minimize everyday knee pain? i'm only 20 years old and my knees feel like i'm 65. I'v never had any major surgeries or a torn legament. It's mostly from wear and tear from Football and Catching in baseball. The worse i'v hurt it was a sprained MCL 3 years ago. Also anyone know how i can gain more strength while not killing my knees? It's usually a dull pain but lately it has been more of a shooting pain.

It's time to see the doctor--or at the very least a physiotherapist. It's almost impossible to figure out what's causing your pain from an online forum. Consistent shooting pains in your knees is not normal.
