Question

Beginning last Friday, I've had a pain my upper forearm, near the elbow, and occasionally in my bicep. I've checked various resources, and it seems similar to tennis elbow, but not in the same location. If my arm were hanging at my side, with the palm facing forward, the pain is at the front and outside of the elbow and forearm. It's most noticeable during any rowing motion, or pullups.

Any thoughts on cause, rehab, off-time?

Thanks

Go see a physician if it's still bothering you. There's a few things that could be going on in the anatomical area you describe, and a physical exam will be far more efficient than anything we can give you here.

I saw a doctor yesterday, after two weeks of rest. There isn't any pain, but still, pulling under load causes a noticeable sensation. The doctor figured it was a muscular-tendoneal injury (no specifics), and prescribed more rest. He also recommended doing only isometric weightlifting once I'm healed.
