I need your guys input. I was at work the other day and was putting this pallet of frozen product in the racking. This pallet was about 7 feet tall and the racking was about 30 feet tall. The top case which weighed about 45 pounds fell off and hit me in the back of the neck. I dont know how but it did. Now I cant move my head forward or backwards very far without pain.. its slight but never less irritating enough not to want to do it. My question is could this just be bruised and go away. Or should I see a doctor. Its also very very tender to the touch but has no bruising or noticable swelling. PS I hate the doctors is why I am asking. Thanks for your time

was this accident reported to your employer? it should have been, allowing any medical attention/rehab to be covered under workmens compensation.

i'd see a doctor ASAP. don't mess with your neck. it has this thing called a spine inside of it that connects your brain to your body. That's pretty important in my book. we're not talking about a bruised finger here....

Definitely should have been reported if it wasn't, otherwise the company can dispute that it happened at work.

I'd be surprised if anyone will give you any advice other than to get to the doctor ASAP. I don't know if an expert can be held liable for medical advice given on a board, but I doubt any of them would risk it for something like this.
