I was doing lying barbell tricep extensions (skull crushers) the other day. On the negative, i experienced a pain in my left tricep. The pain only happened on the negative, and went away when the bar was raised.
The elbow joint is not what is hurting. The area is right near the tricep head, by the elbow. The pain is sore-like pain.
I kept my elbows pointed up, and I do not believe they are flaring out.
I scrapped the sets, and tried overhead tri extensions, which i could do without pain.
Any ideas what it is? Prevention (obviously don't do the exercises that hurt)? Thanks!
