I recently tore my hamstring whilst playing football, it is only a small tear and having been to the physio it is now healing nicely. the physio game a few exercises to use in the gym (such as your typical hamstring curl whilst laying on your front) i was wondering if there were any other good exercises for working your hamstrings?
Bearing in mind im just trying to get it back to full fitness, not actually work it out.

Any response would be greatly appreciated

Cheers guys

The better strategy is to use dynamic exercises such as progressive multi-directional lunges, sidestepping, step ups, karioka, etc. Isolated stretches and isolated strengthening (hamstring curls) is associated with a higher rate of recurrance upon return to activity.

When you are symptom free you can get back to more aggressive agilities and strengthening.
