as ive mention b4 ive just recently started training now (just finished my 3rd week today)
i never have any problems with my legs or any other part of my body when im doing training except when it comes to running
atm im running 3-4 times a week (tuesday night, wednesday morning, thursday night and at weekend at some point when i can fit it in)

for the first week and a half i was fine but after that i started to get pain next to my shin bones and with every run it gradually gets worse.

ive booked a docters appointment for wednesday and will take it easy till then but u guys have any idea as to wot the cause could be ?

Sounds like shin splints to me. Your runs are literally hours apart. You should put a bit more time b/w those runs.

I think TS hit the nail on the head.

Too much work too soon. Your tissues need to be progressively exposed to stress or they tend to "rebel". I would also agree that you are not giving yourself adequate recovery between runs especially if you've just started.

Find another activity (non-weight bearing or reduced weight bearing) until symptoms resolve. Then if you choose to return to running, start with shorter, less frequent runs.

You may want to go to a local running store and have them analyze your gait to determine whether you overpronate or not. You may be in need of a motion control shoe. (I was told - by a podiatrist - overpronation is a function of your heel rather than your arch -- which is what I thought)
