Question

Hey everyone, I've been plagued with this could for the past few days, and I've already messed up my workout routine and feeling pretty crappy about it. I finally have the energy again, but still feel the slight bug in me. I don't want to go to the gym and start spreading the germs everyone, so what do you usually do when in this situation? Thanks.

No worries Yeemix. If you have a virus of some sort, you should just lay low till it gets better. Don't rush back in too soon or you could delay your recovery. On the other hand, if it is just a cold, but you don't have a fever or stomach bug, and you feel like getting in a light workout, you should be fine. Let your body be the judge. Don't feel like you should "tough it out" if your body is telling you that you need sleep.

...or, you could do what the guy in my gym does. Sneeze into your hand, going from station to station without wiping down the equipment or your mitts. So glad that &^%$ works out on machines and I am on the other side of the gym in the free weights area.
