Default If I'm still sore after 48 hours should I still lift or wait another day?

Is it counterproductive to lift if I am still sore 48 hours after my previous workout?

A little sore is fine. It might feel better as you work through it, even.

I LOL'd when I read this:

"The worst thing you can do for a sore body is not doing anything." re hugh jackmans workout!

also this: http://xtremefit.wordpress.com/2009/...an-do-is-rest/

I used to wait until DOMS had totally gone. Now I still train as long as Im not too sore (sometiems takes 7 days for DOMS to go!)
