Default Rolled Ankle

I rolled my ankle while walking. It was OK to bear weight, but only as long as I was not bending it. I am now able to bend it pretty much ok, but I've got some bruising, which is expected, but my calf muscle has been getting worse and worse, with more and more pain the more I walk. What, other than resting, can I do for it?

Not a professional, but

R.I.C.E??

Rest
Ice
Compression
Elevation

That is the typical suggestion isn't it?

Just go about as normal. I've rolled my ankle twice and did nothing for it; it's good as new.
