Default TMI- Hemorrhoids

I haven't been lifting very long. I just started the NROLFW about a month ago so I'm still on workout 1. Last Tuesday I was doing cardio at the gym ( I do the elliptical and treadmill) as usual and I began to get itchy in that area down there. Well when I went home to shower I felt a lump and sure enough, it was a hemorrhoid. I've only had it once before in my life and they were internal then. This is definetly external. I am thinking maybe I got it from the deadlifts I was doing on Monday. I didn't lift on Tuesday, just cardio, but I have read where heavy lifting can cause them.
I didn't work out the rest of the week and it started to go away. So today, I go to the gym to do some cardio and its pretty swollen again. I eat very clean, do cardio 4-5 days a week at 1-1 1/2 hours, Im not overweight, and I get a lot of fiber in my diet. Everything on the net says exercise and aerobics help it go away, but in my case, it made it worse today. Now Im bummed about not being able to go to the gym again this week.
I was really starting to get into weight lifting and this really puts a damper on things. I was laid off recently so I do not have health insurance, a doctors visit is out of the question. I don't have any pain or bleeding. It is more of an annoying feeling and sometimes itches when I sweat at the gym. I know TMI, but does anyone have any experience with this? I have cut out squats and deadlifts for now.

Ummm.....yep, it happens....a real pain in the ass! Not much you can do; they eventually go down. I don't think they ever go away. Seems once you have 'em, they tend to flare up now and again. Heavy lifting definitely aggravate them. No need to see a doctor unless they get really bad and you need surgery for them (rare). Make Tucks and Preh H your new friends.
