Default Terrible Foot Pain

Hi to all

Last 3 weeks ago I had this terrible foot pain on the right. When I press down my right foot while walking it hurts mildly but when I walk it started to hurt bad. I didn't injured my right foot into any accident it just happened that it hurts. When I was in bed I coudln't lift my right foot because of the pain what I'm doing is slowly lifting it up to the position on where I wanted to position my self on the bed. Then when I was gonna wear my shoe's it hurts really bad again. I've been taking some pain killer medicine to ease the pain on my right foot or put some ointments on it. The pain usually starts on the right ankle itself. When I move it that's the time it usually hurts a lot.

I wonder what kind of put pain that causes this? Or what kind of therapy to help solve the problem.

I suspect plantar fasciitis with pain localized to the heel. Other possibilities include fracture, bursitis, or less common bone/inflammation disorders. Many things can predispose you to this problem, with the most common being excessive pronation (flattened arch) while walking or running.

I'm not a big supporter of orthotics, but some people think that they may help. (I find orthotics just cause my patients to have more foot pain). Other things that may help include improving the flexibility of your gastroc/soleus and night splints for your ankle that keep your foot neutral to slightly dorsi-flexed (toes slightly pointed up)

your ankle pain could be coming from something else. there is a reason why your ankle is hurting. Treating the area will not solve the problem either. if your ankle is hurting because your abdominal wall is dysfunctional which could very well be the case. then treating the ankle is not going to do anything until you fix the reason thats causing your ankle to hurt. Just think of it this way when you throw a ball and your toe is not in the correct position this will affect your hand. thats how the body works. whats your daily routine and workout routine and hows your posture?
