Default Left thigh pain - hip unbalanced

It was some time last year around the 3rd quarter. I was pushing real hard in the front squat when I felt something in my left thigh. It has been bugging me ever since.

At the bottom of the squat, after passing parallel, the left side of my hip ends up higher than the right side. I believe my body is compensating by shifting the load away from the left to the right to avoid the pain.

I am not sure about anatomy but it starts somewhere around the upper ITB, and ends at the mid thigh, rectus femoris I guess? Basically from the side to front, upper to mid thigh area. Not sure how to describe the kind of pain. Hmmm, feels like soreness pain? Hurts when I press on the area.

Running/soccer is fine, no pain at all. Bugs me a little when I jump occasionally. Otherwise, only hurts during squatting. Oh yeah, during the deadlift, I noticed that my body slowly shifts towards the left with every rep.

First time I have injured that area. A lot of scar tissue I believe. I have tried foam rolling but didn't really see any improvement(not rolling enough maybe?). Foam rolling doesn't seem to be sufficient as it can't get deep enough.

I saw an ART guy end of last year for 4 sessions only as he moved on to something else. The slight improvement I felt during the 4 sessions disappeared after that..
