Default Lower Back

1. When did the pain begin?
Tuesday January 27th
2. What were you doing at the time? Or did the pain come on gradually over time?
Two-Point Dumbbell Row with Elbows Out. I was using a 30 pound dumbbell, which was lighter then what I could lift. I was focusing on form to prevent an injury like this.
3. Where, anatomically, is the pain?
Lower back
4. What does the pain feel like? Sharp? Dull? Aching? Stabbing? Shooting?
Sharp. It's not extremely painful.
5. Is the pain constant, or intermittent, or only on certain motions?
Only certain motions.
6. What motions make your pain worse?
If I bend over without bending my knees or hips properly.
7. What, if anything, makes your pain better?
Bending over properly.
8. Does your pain radiate to any other part of your body?
No.
9. What things could you do before, that you cannot do now because of your injury?
I played hockey after my work out and it felt fine (probably due to adrenaline). So I guess my answer is no.
10. What is your main concern regarding the pain and its consequences?
I am just making sure that it is okay to work out tomorrow or if people think that it is bad enough to go see a doctor.
11. Have you ever injured that part of your body before? If so, how?
Lifting boxes and other objects while I was moving. I felt fine in a few days. I have not had any serious back injuries. Though I have been in a bad car accident that messed my neck up pretty good. Took half a year of physio before I could do anything physical like sports or work. It is fine now though.
12. Is your pain getting worse over time? And if so, how much worse over what time period?
It has only been a day and the pain I originally had was more then now.

I dont think it is a serious injury because the pain is very minimal. Im not a doctor so I am not 100% sure on that so I thought I would see what you guys think. So far I am just going to see how I feel after my warm up tomorrow.

Ice is always good in an acute injury situation.

Be sure when doing that exercise to keep a slight arch in your lower back instead of bending at the waist.

I would avoid any bending activities for a few days ... and use ice.
