Numbness running from shoulder to thumb
What can this mean? A nerve problem? Happens after training but not during.

Any association with neck movements/head position? Any wekaness you've noticed (e.g., biceps, wrist extension)?

Good questions. I did not ask this to the person who experienced the numbness. But what are the consequences of both these scenarios?

Well, numbness and weakness in a specific distribution can give you a hint as to which nerve is being compressed and where.
