Default Grade I MCL sprain

I was diagnosed with a grade I MCL sprain three days ago. I can put some weight on it now and walk with a limp (just tried to see if I could do it). I currently still use crutches. The only advice the doctor really gave me was to get on an exercise bike after the third day (which I will do tomorrow). Anything else I can do to expedite the healing process? I want to get back to work ASAP and that requires my knee to be at least like 80% back to normal (those are my estimates of course LOL).

Thanks for any advice!

This sounds totally trite, but what you can do to "expidite" things is relax, don't push it, and give it a chance to heal.
