Default Massage Therapy Benefits

Hello all,
I have chronic bach pain and was wondering about the benefits of massage therapy. I went in to get a massage last week and the person doing it said I was really tight all over. If I wanted to loosen up how much massage therapy would be beneficial? Once a week, twice a week, etc. Basically at what point do you see diminishing returns? Thank you.

My wife used to get them weekly. It was like the more she did it the more she needed it. I go monthly. Not as much for back pain as just stress relief but my complaints about my back have definately diminished.

Probably depends upon the type of massage being done and the skill of the massage therapist.

If you are tight, doing some stretching will also help ...
