Default Rhomboids?

I've been having upper back pain lately. I first got hurt 2 months ago, while doing DB shoulder presses. I'm not sure what muscle I hurt, but it's one of the ones between the scapula and spine (rhomboids?). I took a break from working out and slowly started back again.

All was well until yesterday when I was doing a chin up, I felt the pain again on the same side (Right). I stopped, took a break and the pain went away, then I went back to finishing my workout (I was doing push press and chinups).

Then hours after my work I start having severe pain in the same muscle group but on left (between the scapula and spine). It really hurts mostly when I look to the left/right. I'm not sure what I did wrong and what muscle I injured!? Any ideas?

I found this on a website (seems to fit the bill):
The semispininalis capitis is deep to the splenius capitis, and is often a cause of neck pain. Even through its main action is extension, restriction in this muscle can cause pain on rotation at the end of the range.

Could be ... or could be a facet lock in the c-spine ... do you have an osteopath or chiropracter?
